Sterling Sound Disk Mastering
This is where I've been mastering my records since day one. I get great results with Greg Calbi, George Marino or Ted Jensen mastering my records. I've been using Chris Athens lately and he's amazing!

What I appreciate most is they not only give me a great sounding record, but they also make it loud without sacrificing quality. It's a disturbing fact that for many mastering houses today, achieving the loudest denominator is more important than maintaining the sound quality.

Pendulum Audio - Class A Vacuum Tube Signal Processors
Greg, owner and designer, makes great quality gear. The Quartet II is a really good vocal box containing an EQ, Compression and Limiter. It adds a warm tone to a bright or sibilant vocal. The stereo ES 8 is an excellent stereo compressor. It 'shimmers' the sound when it's pushed hard. What I love about these two toys is that they have their own unique sound.

Chandler Limited
Wade, owner and designer, builds the EMI-inspired Limiter and EMI-inspired Channel EQ LT1. They are both amazing to me. Again, the reason for owning them is because they have a unique sound unlike my other toys. They aren't better, they're just different in a great way. The limiter can dramatically change the attitude of a sound or instrument. The EQ has a wonderful musical warmth that is different, but as good as the great Neve. I love it on snare.

Quad Recording Studios - New York
My favorite studio to mix my records. The staff is great! The rooms sound excellent and you get your own floor for privacy.

Vincent Guttman built all my racks. In my opinion, he's the best in the business. He wires and builds everything himself. He also designs the wiring for studios. He's the closest person I know to a rocket scientist.

Empirical Labs
David Derr designs and builds the Distressor and the Fatso. I'm a beta tester for his products. Hands down, they are some of the best and most versatile compressors to come out in the past ten years. He has a modification that is a "must have" for the Distressor called the British mode. The Fatso sounds so good on cymbals that I never get a chance to hear it on anything else. The new Little Freq EQ is going to be a big hit. He added a de-esser/HF limiter to the chain which works like a charm. He's a smart boy, that Dave.

Avalon
My first major purchase was a rack of L44 compressors and L55 EQ's that were completely customized for me. I met Wynton Morro, the designer, at an AES show his first year introducing the Avalon Product. I fell in love with the sound and look of his products. The tube compressors sound unique. The Eq's are class A and have a real clean sound to them. Great quality!

Vintage King Audio
I purchase my old and new toys from Michael Nehra. He has great gear and his service is excellent! His techs make sure the vintage toys are in the best condition possible before shipping them out. He stands by his product. You need this kind of service when you're dealing with old and new toys.

Steven J. Pearlman, M.D., F.A.C.S.
He's my best friend and a great surgeon for Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. I've seen his excellent work on a close friend that was in a racing bike accident.
